In compliance with Ley 34/2002, de 11 de julio, de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y de Comercio Electrónico (LSSI-CE, the Spanish Information Society Services and E-commerce Act), you are hereby informed that the website decorathor.com and the application app.decorathor.com (hereinafter “DECORATHOR”) are owned by:

Subject matter

DECORATHOR is an online interior design and architecture studio that brings together the following tools:

• Decorate with AI: transforms a room based on a photo, a Matterport screenshot or a drawing and on the furniture and material samples provided by the user.
• Floor plan editor: allows the user to arrange items to scale on a floor plan and save the project.
• Catalogue: organises furniture, textures and materials, favourites and the user’s own assets.
• Surfaces: turns a sample into a texture and tries it out on the floors, walls or ceilings in a photo.
• 3D objects: turns a photo of an object into a textured 3D model.
• AI video: adds camera movement to the user’s renders.
• Presentations: prepares a project dossier for download in PowerPoint or PDF format, with optional assistance from the AI Director and Gamma.
• My space: brings together the account’s balance, creations, projects by client, history and achievements.
• My studio: turns a project into a web presentation to show to the client and collect their comments.
• THOR Toolbox, THOR ATLAS and ARCHITHOR: calculators for projects; the study of the sun, shadows and weather at a given location; and the map and games of Spanish architecture, all free to use.

The artificial intelligence tools operate on a credit system. In addition, the owner offers MATTERTHOR, a professional 3D scanning service for real spaces, which is contracted separately on the basis of a quote.

Use of the website

Access to the website is unrestricted and free of charge. Use of the application requires creating an account and accepting the terms of use and purchase. The user undertakes to use the website lawfully and not to damage, disable or overload the service, nor to attempt to access restricted areas or data.

Intellectual and industrial property

The DECORATHOR trade mark, the THOR character, their logos, the design of the website and the application, and their texts, images and code belong to the owner or are used under licence. They may not be reproduced, distributed or modified without express authorisation. Rights to the images uploaded by users and to the results generated from them are governed by the terms.

Liability

The owner works to ensure that the service is available and functions correctly, but cannot guarantee that it will be free from interruptions or technical errors. Links to third-party websites are provided for information purposes only; the owner accepts no responsibility for their content.

Governing law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law.

Privacy policy

This policy explains how we process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales (LOPDGDD, the Spanish Data Protection and Digital Rights Act).

What data we process

• Your account data: your email address, your password (it is stored encrypted and we cannot see it), your sign-up date, your logins, and the date and version of the terms you accept.
• Images and texts you upload to create content (photos, Matterport screenshots, drawings, furniture and material samples, renders for your videos, texts and images for your presentations, and instructions) and the results generated (images, textures, videos and presentations), together with the options you choose.
• Photos of objects you convert into 3D and the models created from them.
• Your profile and your space: your alias or studio name, your name (if you add it) and your profile photo; your catalogue favourites and the assets you save in the workshop, a copy of which is kept in your account so that you can see them on any device; and your projects (name, client, notes and the images you gather in them).
• My studio: the web presentations you create (texts, images, PDFs and versions), your professional page if you publish it, the adverts you post on the noticeboard, the name you give to each review invitation, and your clients’ comments, choices and approvals.
• ARCHITHOR: if you play a duel, the name you choose for the game and your answers; and the architectural works you suggest to us.
• Usage data: images, videos, 3D models and presentations produced, balance, credit transactions and daily limit.
• Purchase data: product purchased, amount, date, status of your subscription and the payment provider’s customer identifier. We do not process your card details: they are handled directly by the payment provider.
• Communications you send us by email, including requests for MATTERTHOR quotes.
• News mailing list (only if you signed up on the website): your email address and your professional profile.
• Technical data (IP address, browser, security logs) generated by our infrastructure providers.
• Visit statistics: we count visits anonymously and in aggregate form (page, day, device type and the type of site you come from). We do not store your IP address or any identifier, and we do not use cookies for this.

Why we process your data and on what legal basis

Artificial intelligence

To generate each image or texture, the photo of the room, your samples and your instructions are sent securely to Google (Gemini API), which acts as a data processor. According to its terms for paid services, Google does not use that data to train its models.

To create a 3D object, the photo of the object is sent to Meshy (Meshy LLC), which generates the model. According to its privacy policy, Meshy may use a limited selection of inputs and outputs to evaluate the quality and safety of its service.

To create a video, the render you choose and your instructions are sent to fal.ai, which generates it with the engine you select (Veo, by Google, or Kling).

If you ask the AI Director for a proposal or use “Improve with AI” in Presentations, the texts of your project and, in the case of the Director, the images you select (in low resolution) are sent to OpenAI. If you create a presentation with Gamma, the texts and images of that dossier are sent to Gamma, which generates it; if you choose to share it, Gamma also receives your email address in order to send it to you.

We do not use your images to train AI models, nor do we make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you. We recommend that you do not upload photos showing people or containing unnecessary personal data.

Projects you share

If you activate a project’s private link, anyone who has that link will be able to see, without an account, the images you have included, the project name, the client and the notes, together with your alias and your profile photo; if you allow it, they will also be able to download the images. The link does not appear in search engines. You can deactivate or change it at any time, and it stops working from that moment. Before including your client’s name or other details, make sure that you are entitled to share them.

In My studio, your presentations, images and PDFs are kept in private storage and are shown only via temporary links to those allowed to see them: anyone with the link if you publish the presentation as public, anyone with the password if you protect it with one, or anyone with a review invitation. Before upload, images are reduced in size in your browser and stripped of camera and location data. If you publish your professional page, whatever you fill in (including your email address) is visible to anyone who opens it. In reviews, the name you give to each invitation and your client’s comments, choices and approvals are stored, and only you can see them; an approval is not an electronic signature. Noticeboard adverts are reviewed before publication and expire after 30 days. Matterport tours, YouTube or Vimeo videos and Sketchfab models are only loaded from those services when the visitor opens them.

Maps and public services (THOR ATLAS and ARCHITHOR)

THOR ATLAS displays maps from Spain’s National Geographic Institute (IGN and PNOA), the Spanish Cadastre (Dirección General del Catastro) and OpenStreetMap; address searches (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) and weather forecasts (MET Norway) are retrieved via the DECORATHOR server. ARCHITHOR displays OpenStreetMap maps served by OpenFreeMap and photographs from Wikimedia Commons, always showing their author and licence. When maps and photos are loaded, those services receive your browser’s IP address. “Near me” uses your device’s location only in your browser and only if you allow it: it is not sent to DECORATHOR. In ARCHITHOR duels, the name you choose for the game and your answers are stored, and game rooms are deleted after a few days; suggested works are stored with your account so that they can be reviewed.

How long we keep your data

• Account, profile, images, results, 3D models, projects, favourites and assets: for as long as your account is active (or until you delete them). If you request the closure of your account, we will delete your images and your data within a maximum of 30 days, except for any data we are required by law to retain.
• Purchases and invoicing: for the statutory periods (up to 6 years, under the Código de Comercio [Spanish Commercial Code] and tax legislation).
• MATTERTHOR requests: for the time needed to prepare the quote and, if you commission the service, for the statutory periods.
• News mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
• Technical security logs: for the limited period set by our providers.

Who we share your data with

Only with the providers necessary to deliver the service, with whom we have contracts in place that protect your data:

The United Kingdom benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, which recognises that it protects data to a level equivalent to that of the EU. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it and, in any event, by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.

Your rights

From “My space” in the application, you can view and correct your profile and download a copy of your data at any time. You can also exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. Where necessary to protect your account, we will ask you to verify your identity. If you consider that we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, the Spanish Data Protection Agency) at www.aepd.es.

Minors

The service is not intended for anyone under the age of 14. You must be of legal age to purchase credits or subscriptions.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, encrypted passwords, private storage for each user, database-level access control, payments and credits calculated on the server only, and restricted access to systems.

Terms of use and purchase

These terms (version 2026-09) govern the use of DECORATHOR and the purchase of credits and subscriptions. You accept them when you create your account and again each time you make a purchase. The service provider is MIDAL INGENIERÍA Y SERVICIOS, S.L. (details in the legal notice).

1. Account

You register with your email address and a password, and confirm your email address using the link we send you. You must provide a valid email address, keep your password secret and not share your account. You are responsible for any activity carried out through it. If you forget your password, you can choose a new one via “I’ve forgotten my password”.

2. Tools and credits

• Decorate with AI, Surfaces, 3D objects, AI video and, within Presentations, the AI Director and Gamma are paid for with credits. The cost depends on the tool, the model, the resolution or the duration, and you can see it before generating, next to the relevant button. The floor plan editor, the catalogue, My space, My studio (Essential plan), the THOR Toolbox, THOR ATLAS and ARCHITHOR do not consume credits, nor does assembling and downloading a dossier in Presentations.
• If you request several proposals at once, each one counts as one image.
• When you create your account, you receive free welcome credits to try out the service.
• If an image, video, 3D model or presentation cannot be completed due to a technical error, the credits are automatically returned to your balance.
• A completed generation consumes its credits even if you are not satisfied with the result: artificial intelligence can produce variable results.
• For security reasons and to prevent abuse, there is a maximum number of credits that can be spent each day. Your limit is shown in “My account” and is higher on higher-tier plans.
• Credits are not money: they cannot be transferred to other accounts or exchanged for cash, except as stated in relation to the right of withdrawal.
• Credits, whether from packs or subscriptions, do not expire as long as the service remains active and your account exists.

3. Prices, payment and invoicing

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Payments are handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service: the sale is made by Link (Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe group company), which acts as the authorised seller (merchant of record) and, as such, collects the payment, sends you the receipt and the invoice, and handles taxes. On your bank statement, the charge appears as “LINK.COM*”. By completing a purchase, you also accept Link’s terms of sale. You can view your purchases and manage your subscription in the app (“My account → Invoices and subscription”) or at link.com.

4. Subscriptions

• Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel them. When you pay for your initial subscription and on each renewal, your plan’s credits are added to your balance.
• You can only have one active subscription at a time. To change plan, cancel your current subscription and, once it has ended, choose another.
• You can cancel at any time from “My account → Invoices and subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you keep any credits in your balance.
• If we change the price of a plan, we will notify you in advance and you will be able to cancel before the new price applies.
• Subscriptions also include a My studio plan with more presentations, storage and features: the Professional plan with Pro, and the Studio plan with Studio and Agency. Without a subscription, you have the Essential plan, free with your account, and its limits apply again if your subscription ends.

5. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase. By purchasing, you expressly request that the credits be made available to you immediately; therefore, once any credit from that purchase has been used, the service is deemed to have been performed with your prior consent and you lose the right of withdrawal in respect of that purchase (Article 103(a) and (m) of the Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios [consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users]). If you have not used any credit from the purchase, write to us at [email protected] within that period and we will refund the full amount.

6. MATTERTHOR · professional scanning

MATTERTHOR is a professional 3D scanning service for real spaces (virtual tours, point clouds, BIM models, CAD plans and 360° photography, among others) provided on site by the owner. It is not paid for with credits: it is requested by email (the MATTERTHOR page in the app prepares the message for you) and contracted separately on the basis of a quote, which sets out the scope, deliverables, timescales and price. That contract is governed by the accepted quote and, in respect of any matters not covered by it, by these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use DECORATHOR to:

• Upload content that is unlawful or for which you do not hold the necessary rights or authorisations.
• Generate content that is sexual or intimate, involves minors, is violent or hateful, or infringes the rights of third parties.
• Create misleading images of real, identifiable people without their consent, or present fictitious events as real with the intention of deceiving.
• Copy protected objects or designs in 3D in order to manufacture or market them without the authorisation of the rights holder.
• Post adverts or content on the noticeboard or on your My studio page that are misleading, offensive or unrelated to architecture, interior design or design: adverts are reviewed before publication and we may remove them.
• Resell the service, automate its use without authorisation or attempt to circumvent its limits, payment systems or security.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules. Our AI providers may reject requests for safety reasons; in that case, the credits are returned.

8. Your images, models and results

You retain all rights to the images you upload. You grant us only the permission necessary to store and process them for the purpose of providing the service to you. You may use the results (images and 3D models) generated with purchased credits, including for commercial purposes. Results generated with welcome credits are for personal and trial use. As they are generated by artificial intelligence, we do not guarantee that the results are unique or that they can be protected by copyright. You are responsible for the use you make of them.

9. Nature of the results

The results are illustrative images and models generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. They are not a substitute for a technical design project, plans or measurements, and must not be used as technical or construction documentation. A 3D model created from a photo is an approximation: its dimensions and geometry may not match the real object, and it may need adjustments before it is used or printed. Always check the results before presenting or using them.

10. What is stored in your browser

Some tools store in your own browser, rather than on our servers, the Decorate with AI draft, floor plan editor projects and the assets you add. If you clear your browser data or change device, you may lose them: save or download anything you want to keep.

11. Changes to the service

The service evolves: we may improve or replace tools and AI models and update our pricing. Price changes do not affect credits you have already purchased. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any material changes to these terms.

12. Liability

We provide the service with due diligence, but we cannot guarantee that it will operate without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it restrict the rights that the law grants to consumers.

13. Account closure

You can request the closure of your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. Before doing so, cancel your subscription if you have one. When your account is closed, your images, results and models are deleted and any remaining credits are forfeited, without prejudice to the provisions on the right of withdrawal.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of domicile. In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Barcelona.

Cookies and storage in your browser

DECORATHOR does not use advertising or analytics cookies from third parties, nor does it track you across websites.

The application uses your browser’s storage (local storage, session storage and IndexedDB) only for what is strictly necessary or for what you choose:

These items are technically necessary or requested by you, and therefore do not require consent (Article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE). Fonts and all other resources are served from our own domains. Our hosting providers (Hostinger and Cloudflare) may use strictly necessary technical cookies for the security of the website.

Visits, without cookies. To find out which pages are used, we count visits anonymously: when you open a page, only its name, the device type (mobile, tablet or computer) and the type of site you come from (for example, a search engine or a social network) are sent. Neither your IP address nor any identifier is stored, nothing is stored in your browser to count you, and we only see daily totals. If we use other analytics tools in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

You can review and delete this data at any time in your browser settings; doing so may log you out and delete drafts or assets stored in it.
